Harding

Well, I made it here. I have also broken my toe while I was in Spartanburg. Good job, me. I really like it here. The town is small, but not too small. The campus is wonderful. There are verses written on buildings, professors who pray in class, and wonderful people all around. I really like it. On top of that I need to thank the Murphy's for helping me chose my major. And this is how the conversation went...

Jaime: So Whitney, you need to think about what you want to major in.
Whitney: Right, ok, um...
Philip: If I could go back I would do Health Care Management.
Paul: Oh yeah, I would definately do Health Care Management.
Whitney: Alright, I'll do that.

Couldn't have done it without you guys! Thanks! I really like it so far. I really do.

I just wanted to give you an update. And there it is.

Pray all is well where ever you are. God bless!

Spartanburg

I love this place. It most definately my second home. I love my family and my wonderful friends. It's the best feeling in the world to be around them again, even though it's only for a short while. I've been working at my old college and I get to drive around the campus police golf cart around. For me, that alone is worth it. haha. Little things make me happy in life. Well, while I'm working I have to carry around this radio that weighs about 10-15 pounds. It is stinkin' heavy. Sure enough I dropped the thing on my toe and it turned black in about three seconds. It's hard for me to walk on it. Not the best feeling in the world. And then the next day I was helping my old boss do some filing in some boxes on the floor sitting indian style with that foot on top and, Bless his heart, Mr. Aylor, the guidance counselor for the college, comes to say hey and grabs my toe and shakes it. I started to tear up. I am going to go eat with some old friends. Sorry this one's so short. My toe hurts. Bye!

College

Right now, I am trying to pack for college. Just taking a little break. I have to consolidate all of my things once again for this journey. I will be riding 12 hours in a truck with two of my guy friends and we have to fit all of our stuff in. It's going to be a long trip.
We are all going to have work study job. Some, unfortunately, off campus. Sharing one car is not going to work out very well. It would actually be four of us sharing the truck. So, I could not sell my 240 sx and take it. Though, we are not quite sure it will make the long trip. Insurance is expensive, and I know gas will be too. But I will want and need a car at Harding. At least I think so. What I am looking for here are suggestions or a free car giveaway. Let me know if you are planning one!

I'M HOME!!

Yes, yes, I made it. I am back home and going to church tonight. However, I am still waiting on my luggage to arrive at my door. Yep, it got lost again. It seems to be my trademark for going places. I jsut want to give out my gifts. But I can't do that without my bags can I?

It was a long trip. It was great to see my new cousin in Hawaii and spend time with her. She jsut married my cousin and is now pregnant while he is away for the navy. I love her!

In San Francisco, I ventured out into the city to get something to eat. Nice town! Well, people wise.

And in Dallas, I just got on and then got off.

I cried every leg of the way because I knew I was almost home. I was so excited to see my family. They are great. I'm going to go off with my mother now. I hope all is well with you!
